Stephen Mwangi

Am currently doing my internship at Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation a government corporation which is mandated to power marginalized areas in the country as well as promoting the renewable energy sources of energy. The corporation is therefore doing solarization of different projects including boreholes, streetlights as well as building solar mini-grids. These efforts ensure that we produce clean energy for use and therefore reducing the effects both to the environment and humans if others sources of energy were used for generation. This helps in reducing emissions to environment thereby minimizing the risks of environmental pollution and global warming.
