Responsible for checking the guests in and out and following the hotel policies and procedures in regards and meeting up with the guests' needs and requirements, and also responsible to achieve the FO targets in rooms up-selling, guest satisfaction etc... Preparing for the night auditing, rooms figures, the checking in and out list at the night shift. Also trained new members of the front office s team, Updated team members about changes in hotel products, services, pricing and policies. As a Departmental Trainer my responsibilities are as the following :
- Assist in the identification of the department training needs.
- Plan the training activities to satisfy these training needs.
- Carry out the department orientation training for new employees.
- Monitor the standards within their department, and give corrective training to the employees if the standard falls below the agreed level.

Ensure guests are personally greeted by name if known to make them feel welcomed. Maintain the privacy of all guests by ensuring that no details are disclosed. Take ownership of guest requests and notify them of any delays in performing work orders in accepted standard time and call them back to ensure their satisfaction. Take ownership of solving guest problems and pass it to the Manager on Duty if necessary and update guest complaints in guest profile for future reference. Assist guests in hotel activity inquiries / requests.
