The idea of the festival is to bind young people through work in several different workshops created so that every workshop covers a significant field of the society we live in. Through workshops, close communication and cooperation, interactive lectures and various open activities, students are able to gain new knowledge and exchange ideas. We also had an opportunity to establish professional contacts with eminent professors and professionals from different sectors and develop and create new projects.

Online webinars on sustainability projects, organized by multiple companies

Organized by Social Innovation Lab, VentureBattle bridges the gap between the aspiring impact entrepreneurs from the extended Caucasus Region and the right resources and inspiration to create sustainable innovations in hospitality & food-tech and educational fields. Selected applicants started the hackathon by the experts in physical training sessions for 48 hours. We worked nonstop on our ideas to turn them into working products. Our startup was about fashion-tech. On the last day, we pitched our ideas in front of judges and received feedback and prizes. Cleantech Ideation Bootcamp is a two-day coaching, training and hands-on workshop program that teaches aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators how to build a venture around one of the world’s most alarming issues – climate change, using the most essential tools, techniques and methodologies like Design Thinking and Lean Startup methodology. We went through a series of training and hands-on workshops throughout the bootcamp under the guidance of program coaches. At the end of the program, we pitched our ventures to the Jury from the startup ecosystem to get expert feedback and insights for further growth. In the “Social Business and Entrepreneurship” program, the presentations of 12 social business ideas in education, technology, agriculture, environment and healthcare were introduced. Organized by StartUp Azerbaijan, it was a useful Bootcamp to boost business knowledge. My team participated with a waste management project and won 2nd place.
