ETS’s decades of global expertise in measurement and assessment innovation coupled with Localized’s leading tech platform has resulted in the launch of this digital badge giving employers access to this network of remote-ready workers.

Digital jobs are on the rise worldwide. According to a 2024 whitepaper published in April by The World Economic Forum, “[The rise of] global digital jobs pose an opportunity for both the labor markets in advanced economies that have been exceptionally tight and for developing economies that face higher unemployment rates through connecting talent and job opportunities across borders.” Further, if managed well, according to the whitepaper, these global digital jobs have the potential to drive economic growth, create new opportunities, and improve lives.
The assessment evaluates skills related to being an effective worker as part of a distributed, global workforce -- including communication, cross-functional collaboration, seeking feedback and mentorship remotely, and other competencies. Anywherepro is targeted to hybrid, distributed and telecommuting individuals or teams, working this way either temporarily or on an ongoing basis and, upon successfully passing the assessment, can be showcased on workers’ LinkedIn accounts. The impetus for this work was the result of hundreds of conversations with human resources and talent acquisition leaders at global employers who were looking to understand the signals that current and prospective employees were ‘remote ready.’
