By the end of the course, you’ll be equipped with the practical skills needed to drive sustainable change within organizations and meet the rising demand for green professionals.
Here is a selection of what you will learn -
Reporting: Learn the carbon and ESG reporting requirements for the following--or future variants of them such as:
- The Taskforce for Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
- The Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB)
- Carbon Disclosure Program (CDP), SFRD, EET, IFRS
- ISO 14064
- Paris-Aligned Target & Reduction Plan (SBTi)
- Learn to create a concordance table
- Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) – including the Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) process, which impacts companies that are based in Europe of a certain size and companies that do business in Europe
Carbon Accounting:
- Prepare reports that can stand up to 3rd party audits (carbon/GHG Protocol footprint structure, ESG non-financial disclosures annual report)
- Learn the requirements for producing a Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Management Plan and take GHG Inventory
- Gain familiarity with local or national agencies such as the EPA
- Produce an ESG risk assessment matrix
- Evaluate the ESG and carbon metrics of any ESG project
