We are seeking a Procurement Manager to support our global procurement team, focusing on software, hardware, cloud services, SaaS, IT infrastructure, and emerging tech solutions. Based in Karachi, this role will contribute to optimizing vendor management, cost efficiency, and procurement automation initiatives while ensuring agility and compliance across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & reporting: Execute the global procurement strategy, including spend analysis, benchmarking, and cost optimization across key categories.
- Technology procurement: Build category strategy, drive cost optimization, and enhance procurement maturity for tech-related categories.
- Vendor management & negotiation: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with global and regional technology suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.
- Cost optimization & value creation: Identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize software licensing, SaaS, and IT infrastructure investments, and improve total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Procurement systems & compliance: Leverage procurement automation tools, enforce vendor SLA compliance, and mitigate contractual risks.
- Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate with IT, engineering, finance, and legal teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Continuous improvement: Identify and implement best practices to enhance procurement performance and business impact.
Other requirements
- 4+ years in technology procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management within tech, telecom, SaaS, or IT services.
- Experience in negotiating software, SaaS, cloud, and IT infrastructure contracts.
- Proficiency in procurement tools (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle), cost analysis, and vendor management systems (VMS).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred).
- Familiarity with software licensing models, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks is a plus.
