Performed routine troubleshooting and maintenance of video production equipment and control room devices to diagnose and resolve problems. Ensured minimal loss of service in the event of an equipment failure by quickly identifying and implementing alternative methods of service provision. Worked closely with production teams and other resource departments to ensure that operational and production needs were effectively and efficiently met.

Carried out daily logging of faults and ensured that equipment issues were reported to the broadcast engineering team, and worked with them to ensure that faults were cleared. Performed software installation and routine upgrade of video production software to optimize performance. Offered daily operational and systems support to personnel and worked closely with the production teams to setup video production devices. Assisted in the management of computer networks, providing technical support to users and ensured that production equipment were adequately maintained.

Assisted in the setting up of computer devices and configuration of system drivers. Assembled custom tailored Windows based desktop systems for individual clients. Performed regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated. Carried out troubleshooting of computer systems and provided solutions to restore functionality. Kept records of repairs and fixes for future reference.
