Work in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy in carrying out energy audits of 80 Secondary Schools. Participate in a series of workshops covering a wide range of sustainable energy topics, including energy access, energy transition, renewable energy, energy efficiency, clean cooking, cooling for all, powering healthcare, energy finance, international relations, policies, research, energy modeling, and communications. Use the OnStove Model tool to Model the best clean cooking technology in Kenya. Interact with local communities to understand their energy needs, raise awareness about sustainable energy practices, and promote community involvement in related projects. Drafting comments on the Energy Efficiency Policy and Compliance framer for East Africa Community(EAC) with regards to the Energy Efficiency Lighting and Appliances (EELA) project. Assist SEforALL staff in carrying out research, analysis, and other tasks related to sustainable energy projects and initiatives. Shadow SEforALL staff in various roles to gain hands-on experience in the sustainable energy sector. Analyze energy report to check for progress Develop a professional development plan and set goals for career advancement in the sustainable energy sector. Network with other trainees, SEforALL staff, and industry professionals to expand knowledge and build connections. Stay updated on the latest developments in sustainable energy, attend relevant workshops or conferences, and continuously build technical skills in the field.

Training the community on how to carry out waste segregation. Collecting segregated waste from every household and recorded sample weight of organic, dry, and hazardous waste. Work in partnership with community health workers to review and discuss any people of concern who may need monitoring or additional supervision. Carrying out assessments to establish the level of need for services for vulnerable people. Put together waste department budgets to project revenues and expenses. Employing critical analysis to find problems and develop solutions for people in the community. Work in partnership with the county government of Kisumu to donate bins and sacks to aid my community in proper waste segregation.

Conducted geochemical analyses of rock and fluid samples to assess the composition and properties of geothermal resources. Assisted in the collection and processing of geological data for the evaluation of potential drilling sites. Collaborated with senior geochemists to interpret geochemical data and generate reports for internal use. Contributed to the development of models to predict reservoir behavior and optimize geothermal power production. Participated in fieldwork, including sample collection and site inspections, to support ongoing research and exploration efforts. Engaged in laboratory work, performing tests and experiments to analyze the geochemical characteristics of geothermal fluids. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to integrate geochemical findings into broader geologic and engineering assessments. Assisted in the monitoring and management of environmental impacts associated with geothermal power production. Presented findings and updates to colleagues and management during team meetings and project reviews. Acquired practical experience in the application of geochemical techniques and methodologies in a real-world geothermal energy setting.
