Managed the restoration of mangrove ecosystems, overseeing field activities, and coordinating with community members and stakeholders. Led environmental impact assessments and project monitoring, ensuring ecological restoration targets were met. Conducted training and facilitated capacity-building workshops for community members and schools on mangrove restoration and sustainable resource management. Engaged in fundraising efforts through grant application and donor engagement, and managed restoration budgets.

Reviewed and processed Environmental Impact Assessments, Summary Project and Environmental Audit reports, Waste transport licenses and Effluent Discharge licenses. Monitored environmental compliance of ongoing projects by conducting site inspections and reviewing project reports. Engaged in environmental incidence management, recording, classification and investigation. Participated in Public Environmental Education and Awareness programmes.

Conducted quantitative and qualitative data collection and survey on health and safety of workers in different organizations in Kilifi County using Kobo Collect. Recorded data in a Kobo Collect software. Responded to queries raised by management and employees on occupational safety and health. Trained organizations in understanding the occupational safety and health legislations, basic knowledge of hazard identification process, risk assessment and accident investigation.
