Conduct safety inspections at various sections of the plant to identify potential hazards. Prepare Risk Assessment for the plant. Serve as part of a Safety Committee provide technical advice on the Emergency Response Plan. Establish and manage emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, fire drills, and first-aid resources. Provide new employees and contractors with safety induction training. Liaises with external bodies like the Environmental Protection Agency. Ensure that process and products comply with Environmental Standards. Inspect incoming chemicals and materials to ensure availability of MSDS and conform to standards. Develop and maintain safety protocols, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards. Implement a reporting system to near misses, allowing for proactive measures to prevent future incidents. Effectively manage Process and Quality Control activities in the laboratory. Ensure Production Process conforms to Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015). Ensure that Equipment and Instruments are calibrated, maintained and standardized. Assist in Inspection and Certification of Local and Export Material. Liaises with external bodies like Ghana Standards Authority. Inspect incoming raw materials. Ensure Process Parameters are within specification. Train National Service Personnel at the Finishing and Casting Lines.
