Hi, I'm Luyanda Tshili!
Vacation Student at Bowmans Virtual Work Programme
I'm currently navigating my third year of LLB studies at the University of Cape Town. Prior to this, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Sciences and International Relations from the University of Johannesburg, where I maintained a GPA of 70%. Throughout my academic journey, I've been actively involved in various extracurricular activities that have shaped my character and skills. For instance, I am currently serving as the Events Director for ABSIP UCT , I additionally serve as a mentor for the Law Student Council, where I'm committed to supporting my peers in their academic and personal growth. With that being said I participated enthusiastically in both the UCT Moot Society and UNASA UCT. These experiences have not only enhanced my leadership abilities but have also sharpened my organizational skills. My professional journey has been equally fulfilling. I've had the opportunity to participate in the virtual vacation work programme at Bowmans and intern with the 4IR Digital Policy Research Unit @UJ. These experiences have provided me with valuable insights into legal research methodologies and educational facilitation practices. Beyond academics and professional experiences, I'm deeply passionate about personal development. I've been involved in tutoring, coding bootcamps, and various community service initiatives, all of which have contributed to my holistic growth as an individual. With proficient legal research and writing skills, coupled with strong communication abilities, I am eager to leverage my talents and contribute positively to your esteemed organization.
