Eman Barhoumeh

Eman Barhoumeh is a seasoned product and business executive. Eman has held a variety of leadership roles at technology companies prior to her current role at Meta. Starting her career at Microsoft, Eman spent time working on technology and business in the Office product division. Itching to incubate and grow a complete business unit, Eman took on the role of heading the world wide insuretech product for Expedia, Inc growing it over 10x in revenue by guiding the transformation of business model, technology and product. From there Eman moved to Lyft and was in the thick of covid response as head of safety and customer care. Having already experienced the transformative power of AI in her previous roles, Eman joined Meta’s AI division leading content and user understanding applying state of the art AI to help people discover their interest and connect with each other. Eman grew up in Amman, Jordan and obtained dual degrees in Computer Science and Graphic Design from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
